Dr Parbhoo is a general paediatrician who finds great joy in working with a wide range of children from newborns to teens. She is passionate about children’s health and development with special interests in ADHD, endocironology and diabetes. 

About Dr Parbhoo

Dr Parbhoo obtained her MBBCh degree from the University of Witwatersrand in 1993. She completed her internship at Baragwanath Hospital in Soweto in 1994. Dr Parbhoo completed her specialisation in Paediatrics and Child Health in 2000. She worked as a consultant Paediatrician at Pretoria Academic Hospital for 2 years where she mentored students and registrars. She also assisted with the running of the endocrine and neurology clinics.

She ventured into private practice thereafter and set up a private practice at Medforum Hospital in Pretoria. She relocated to Cape Town in 2006 where she established a paediatric practice at the Louis Leipoldt Medical Centre.

Dr Parbhoo has completed the Basic and Advanced Paediatric and Neonatal Life Support Certificates. She assisted Prof Zollner at Tygerburg Hospital with the Endocrine and Diabetes clinics on a sessional basis.
A mother of 2 girls, she enjoys spending time with her family. She enjoys cooking, hiking, dancing and travelling.
